Special Prayer

Sat Nov 7, 2009, 6:57 AM
God, you light up my world. You give me a lot in life, and of life. You show me things that change the foundations of my mind, and my inner being. Jesus, you sterilize and cleanse my soul from the impurities of evil, and by doing so, I am saved. God, you are Lord, and you have the light to brighten the darkest moments of my life. Nothing can stand up against you, Father. You are the creator and founder of the universe, and with your son, I may be saved from sin. All was made possible when you spoke through the darkness, and you created the light, and separated them both equally.

You are the greatest God that I know, and the only greatest, single God that I know. Through the Father and Son alike, you are everlasting. There are others that call themselves Gods, but are not. They are nothing when it comes to your mighty power. You have the wisdom, the love and understanding that no one in creation could have. You have all the glory, and all the power. You deserve all of the praise, and all of the worship. My devotion goes out to you, Father God. Of all these things that you have, you also have something else that is special to me. It’s something that you gave me when I was born, and something that I treasure, and don’t take for granted. You gave me my life. You gave me the power to live, and to walk and talk. Through your Son, Jesus Christ, I live. I exalt the Father, and the Son alike. You, Father, and your Son, Jesus, are one in the same. You two are together, residing within the same being together. This way, I can exalt Jesus, and by doing so, I exalt him and you through him.

I love you, God. As I sit here and pray with my heart open for you, Lord, I pray that you give me the inspiration, and the encouragement to make the right decisions in life. I ask you, Father, that you show me the understanding in life’s decisions and ways that I have not fully seen. I ask you for the corrections needed to allow me to understand your glory and praise whenever I fall short of your glory, Lord. And I ask you for your Holy Spirit to reside within me, so that I may continue to exalt the Son through you, Father.

I ask you for the presence of you, God to come to me in times of great need when I am upset, scared, or crying. I ask you to light up my darkest days when I am not feeling well. I ask you that I may have the extended compassion, love, and mercy for others, for to be forgiven, I must forgive others, and by this, your law is stated. But most of all, I ask that I may receive the knowledge and understanding that is necessary for me to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and by doing so, that I may exalt the Son, Jesus Christ, and raise up the NAME OF JESUS in your honor, Lord God.

I thank you for the time that I have spent here today being able to talk with you, Lord God. Please let it be that I may raise the mighty name of JESUS high on eagle’s wings.

In Jesus’ Name, I Pray…

Amen.

What do I do for the Lord?

Tue Oct 13, 2009, 3:08 PM
This is a favorite question that I really do love answering quite commonly all the time. The Lord is someone that I know personally in my heart, and someone whom I show considerable praise and love towards. He’s not just someone that I show praise and worship simply because I am forced to, but only because I willingly want to. It’s true that God has proclaimed himself as a jealous God, and that he wishes that I follow him. But I follow the Lord simply because I want to, and I don’t want to disappoint him in his name.

Following God is one thing that I really appreciate and love doing. By doing so, I show him praise, and I worship him. I follow his word, the Holy Bible (KJV), and by doing this, I find my life to become easier. God has made me promises that he can keep for me in the end. God is the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the ending. I follow God because I love him with all my heart, mind, and soul. I would do anything for him. I praise him when I go to Church, and I worship him in Church as well. The Lord is a mighty God before us all. God’s love toward me has made my heart love him, and show him honor.

Even when I am on the streets, I still think of God all the time, and of how many glorious wonders he has waiting for me in Heaven. But I have to follow him. I have to praise him, and worship him. I have to show him honor, follow his word, and also by keeping the Sabbath day holy. I also have to fear God out of respect. When I fear my mother out of respect to do what is right, I also do this when I fear God. I don’t fear God as an angry, violent God. I fear him to do what is right. By doing what is right, I follow his word, his ways, and his voice. This is what is called by, “listening to the voice of the Lord.”

I love singing gospel songs and other worship songs for him as well. I try to keep his commandments as best as I possibly can, even if we may not be perfect beings. I love God, and I will do whatever his will for me is. I also love studying the Word a few days throughout the week as well. Even if it’s not Sunday yet, I still read the Word. I want to know more of the truth. I want to know Jesus better as my Lord and Savior, and I want to praise and worship him. I love Jesus as do I love God. My spirit connects me with the Lord, and it connects me with Jesus. I love The Son with all my heart, and my way to Heaven can only be through him. I personally love the Lord and Jesus because I keep them close to my heart as my protectors. I look to Jesus for answers all the time, and I pray to him and to God when I am upset, and when I am confused.

Prayer is another important factor that I implement into my life. How can we get to know the Lord better if we don’t pray to him? Praying helps to connect you with God, and it helps you to get to know him better, and to get to know Jesus better. I appreciate and love everything that is of the Lord, and of Jesus, and without doubt, I put my devotion towards God simply because of the love I have for him.

Glory to Our God

Sat Oct 10, 2009, 6:03 AM
The Lord is the true living God of glory
O’ mighty one, we learn from the stories
We live because of You, O’ Lord God
And we shall blossom like Aaron’s rod

We search for the One single Son
For with Him, all sins become as if undone
We shout praise to You, as in a large crowd
For Your glory will be heard with open ears and loud

In our hearts, we worship the One who is glowing
With Him, all of His power is mightily flowing
Through Him, we shall seek our self-redemption
For He is no natural man-made invention

O’ Lord God, Your word is the greatest of all
And no evil shall stand in Your presence, but instantly fall
When You are ready for us, we shall hear Your great call
Then shall we be home, through Your great halls

And now, we shout and scream out Your mighty name
For Your word is written once, and remains the same
And of all the Earth below, You have the greatest fame
For You are perfect O’ Lord God, and cannot have blame

We stand ready for You at Your mighty doors
When I make it, may it be that I grace Your floors
I want You more Lord, O mightily more
Through You, we shall no longer be poor

We stand at the doors on our mark and ready
We shall see Your glorious presence and be steady
We lye still, knowing that You are who You are
For You gather all Your children, near and far

We desire Your love and grace of all time
For we shall never sell You away for even a dime
Your glory is the music of a great chime
And through You shall I continue to rhyme

For there are reasons for our seasons
And I write these lines because of Your signs
With faith may we believe and not deceive
Your ways and Your word are what we learn and read
You shall be our master, and You are the one to lead

Show me what I must do in the dangerous times
Show me the greatness of Your glory with sweet rhymes
For You encompass all of us round about in the sky
And when we are set free, in Your name may we all fly

Holy Bible: Judges: 3

Fri Sep 11, 2009, 5:39 AM
Hey, everyone...

I just finished up reading Judges:3 from my Bible (KJV). This is my summary on it:

Israel goes off to serve Baalim, and they also dwell among the surronding nations which are the Hivites, Hittites, Perizzites, Armorites, Canaanites, and Jebusites. Israel also eventually serves Chushan-Rishathaim, king of Mesopotamia. God becomes angry with that, and raises up a judge called Othneil, son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother. He judges Israel and then goes off to war, and his hand prevails against Chushan-Rishathaim. He then passes away, and Israel does evil in the sight of God again. From there, he strengthens Eglon, king of Moabites, and the sons of Ammon, and Amelek, and they go out and smite Israel. Israel cries to God, and God raises up another judge named Ehud, son of Gera, a benjamite, and he goes out to Eglon and says he has a message from God, and pulls out a dagger from his right thigh, and plunges it into his stomach. His men come in, and find their lord dead on the ground. Eglon has been killed by Ehud. And Ehud escapes. From there, Ehud calls Israel and says God has delivered the Moabites into your hands, and they together go out and kill roughly 10,000 men. From there, Shamgar, son of Anath, goes out and slays roughly 600 Phillistines with an Ox Goad. And he also delivers Israel.

Trust me, I didn't type this directly from my Bible, I truly did not! Somehow, I remember practically everything from this chapter. Took me about 3x to read it over, and get it fully stuck in my head. I also take notes in my Bible.

And it's been known that I have reading comprehensive problems!

My Journey to the Holy God of Heaven!

Tue Sep 8, 2009, 2:31 AM
My Journey to the Holy God of Heaven:

My Holy Journey leads me to one that is most inspiring to me of all time. And now, I let it grab hold of my very heart, and I let it in. I let the Lord into the door of my heart so that he may purify me. I let him in so that I may serve in his name, and so that I may serve in the name of Jesus, and to do well in his sight. However, sin holds me down. I want to do the right thing, and sometimes, I feel so bad that I have sinned that I feel as if I am not worthy enough to be seen by the sight of anyone. I hide myself from the faces of people around me, and I pray. I break apart into pieces, knowing that what I have done is wrong. So, I look towards Jesus because I know that he will have the answer. The answer is Him! Sometimes, I am saying to myself, “Jesus is asking me something, but what answer do I give him?” Am I even worthy enough to speak? Jesus says to me, “Yes, you are, my child.” From this, I am cured, and am spiritually moved. To know that the Lord has allowed me to speak in his presence is the peace of my heart. So I answer and tell him what I have done right and wrong. I speak to him, and tell him what is bothering me on a daily basis. I know now that he hears me. Never shall I doubt the Lord, for he is God! He is the reflection of God, and he is my Savior. Jesus is the answer, my answer! As he once said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”

The Favorite Book:

Oh, man! I don’t really understand how people cannot see it when it’s in front of their faces. The Bible is the book of all time. Of all the books that could possibly exist in the entire world, the Bible is one book that never fails, and always has the answers that you’re looking for. The Bible may not always have the answer in the way in which you’re looking for it, but the Bible brings understanding. In that, also exists wisdom, which is also another form of understanding. The Bible brings forth the Holiness of God, and of Jesus, and shows you the adventures of Israel, and of the life of Jesus Christ, Our Savior! If you can understand the Bible in the way that is good to you, it will bring forth so many answers, and you will be surprised at how much is in this awesome book!

When I Pray:

This is a time when I must come to the Lord, and pray. Praying is one of the most powerful ways that I spiritually find to be most successful in my life. Praying is the key and the ticket to God. Praying to the Father is one that I couldn’t possibly explain enough. All I know is that when I pray, I instantly start to feel the Love and the Mercy that is in God’s heart fall upon me, and it hits me harder when I am crying to God. You want to know why? Because I know there is NO ONE greater than God. I know that I believe in the Lord, and I know that I believe that Jesus died on the cross for the repentance of mankind’s sins. I believe in Jesus, and I know that he is King of all Kings, and Lord of all Lords! I know there exists a Father in Heaven, and I know that when all else fails, he doesn’t! He can show me the way that will heal everything that is wrong with me, and he can deliver from evil into his holy hands, and he can do well with me. I trust in the Lord, because he never fails. The Bible tells me the good things of the Lord, and of Jesus, and of the good things that are to come when the end of the world is upon us. For his holy servants will be with him. The reason why I feel so intense about writing this is because when I talk about God, and I ultimately know who God is, there enters a love that is COMPLETELY indescribable to my heart, and the meaning of “Father” just tells me that the Lord will keep you, and he will show you good things in your sight. Here today, I worship the Holy Lord God of Heaven, and I worship Lord Jesus, for Jesus is the way to Heaven. Through Jesus, I can reach the Father, and I can live with Jesus, and with God forever, and I can learn so much wisdom in this world that will forever keep me safe from harm, and will forever keep Satan away from me. For here today, I rebuke Satan in the name of Jesus Christ, for he can do nothing. He failed, and betrayed the Lord long ago, and he was cast into the bottomless pit. For it is him that I shall reject, and slam the door in front of. When the Lord calls upon me, and ask me of my presence, to Him shall I open the door, and welcome with all my heart, and all my soul, and all my might. For I serve the Lord of Heaven, the Lord God of the Holy Bible. This is MY God of the Bible, of Life, and of Heaven. The Lord Jesus is forever my Master, and teacher, the one in whom I put all of my faith, my trust, and to whom I worship fully with all of my heart and soul. The Lord God of Heaven, in who created He the entire Earth and Heavens is whom I worship. For this, I worship my Savior, and the Father of all fathers whom forever exists in Heaven!

Closing Remarks:

I know conclude the ending of this article with final remarks:

Jesus is my Lord and Savior. God is my Father who exists in Heaven. I shall turn to Jesus for everything! I shall look to them when I am down, and when I am hurt. When I have lost all else, I will never lose them. They shall never fail me, for the Lord tells me so. The Bible, God’s Book, tells me so. Him shall I always follow. And I know that I can and will succeed through Jesus. For Jesus is Lord!
